Vocas proudly presents the most exciting advance in image control for DV camera's, the DV mattebox MKII.

Packed with features that protect your camera and enhance your creativity, the DV MKII mattebox can be mounted with a rail support directly to most DV camera's, only a soft rubber lens ring contacts your lens barrel, so you don't have to worry about your lens during the bumps and grinds of capturing exciting footage. Or for more compact and lightweight operation this mattebox can be used as "clip-on" mattebox, by attaching it directly to the lens front with the use of a "quick lock" attachment.

The Vocas DV mattebox MKII is ideal for use with Century DV accessories up to 105mm in diameter, and is fully compatible with popular glass filters, (3"x3" through 4"x6" in size) such as those from Schneider Optics.

Vocas MB-200 Mattebox

The Vocas MB-200 (item #0200-0200) features a Quick-Lock mounting system that attaches directly to the front lens barrel. If required, an MBS-100 mattebox support and a barsadapter on standard 15 mm rails can be used. This mattebox accommodates 3x3" through 4x6" filters and works with most wide angle lenses in 4:3 aspect ratios.

The Vocas MB-200 has one rotatable and one fixed 4" wide filter tray.

Internal eyebrows are standard on the MB-200. They can be operated from the outside of the mattebox. These patented internal French flags allow the user to adjust the matte (or mask) to the zoom position of the lens. Although the MB-200 can be used as a clip-on mattebox, we recommend the use of a bars adapter and a MBS-100 mattebox support.

Vocas MB-210 Mattebox

The Vocas MB-210 (item #0200-0210) features a Quick-Lock mounting system that attaches directly to the front lens barrel. If required, this mattebox can also be attached to the camera with a 15mm lightweight support. This mattebox accommodates a 3x3" through a 4x6" filter and works with most wide angle lenses in both 4:3 and 16:9 aspect ratios.

The Vocas MB-210 has one rotatable 4"X4" filter tray and place for one fixed 4"X4" filter in the front end of the hood. The MB-210 is wide enough to work on most cameras with wide angle converter without fignetting.

Although the MB-210 can be used as a clip-on mattebox, we recommend the use of a barsadapter and a 15mm mattebox support.

Vocas MB-250 Mattebox

The Vocas MB-250 (item #0200-0250) features a Quick-Lock mounting system that attaches directly to the front lens barrel. If required, an MBS-100 mattebox support and a barsadapter on standard 15 mm rails can be used. This mattebox accommodates 3x3" through 4x6" filters and works with most wide angle lenses in both 4:3 and 16:9 aspect ratios.

The Vocas MB-250 has one rotatable and one fixed 4" wide filter tray.
and also features a patented "heavy duty" French flag clamper.

Internal eyebrows are standard on the MB-250. They can be operated from the outside of the mattebox. These patented internal French flags allow the user to adjust the matte (or mask) to the zoom position of the lens. Although the MB-250 can be used as a clip-on mattebox, we recommend the use of a bars adapter and a MBS-100 mattebox support.

Care should be taken when using a clip-on mattebox to avoid damage to your equipment. We do not recommend the use of a clip-on mattebox in conjunction with a wide angle converter. Vocas is not responsible for any damage caused to your equipment through the use of a clip-on mattebox.

Note: The MB-250 is compatible with the Canon 6x XL 3.4-20.4 HD wide angle lens, however some vingnetting may occur outside the save area when rotating the 1st filterframe. To solve this please consider using a 4.5"x4.5" filterframe #0380-0001.

Sony PMW-EX1 with clip on Vocas MB-200 Mattebox

For optimal compact en lightweight operation the Vocas MB-200 mattebox can be used as clip-on mattebox.

-DV mattebox MB-200 including two 4"X4" filter frames. Item #0200-0200.
-Step down adapter ring 105mm to M77. Item #0250-0145. (This ring only fits on the MB-200)

Sony PMW-EX1 with clip on Vocas MB-250 Mattebox

For optimal compact operation with maximum possibilities the Vocas MB-250 mattebox can be used as clip-on mattebox.

Sony PMW-EX1 with clip on Vocas MB-250 Mattebox on 15mm rail support

For better support and safety for your camera, we recommend using a 15 mm mattebox support.
This support has a flat base and allows the use on all tripods.
