Vocas Manual Focus Controller MFC-1

This compact follow focus system enables you to control the focus with more precision. Made from machined aluminum and other high-tech materials, this follow focus is up to the level of the most demanding camera man.

Attaches directly to the 15mm. light weight support with a quick lock clamper.

Rotation lock:
Especially for DV cameras with an indefinite rotating focus ring, the MFC-1 features a "rotation stop". This stop can be enabled or disabled, and provides a hard stop on the focus knob.

Gear Rings

For cameras without a toothed focus ring a gear ring is required.
This ring slips simply over the camera's focus ring.

Drive Gears

This is the gear wheel which attaches to the follow focus unit. Some lenses have different teeth sizes on the focus ring, therefore this gear has to be exchangeable.

Drive gear Canon XL/HL1 standard 20X lens, this drive gear does not have the normal shaped teeth, but the teeth are shaped to grip directly into the ribbed rubber focus ring of the lens. Therefore there is no gear ring required. Item #0500-0200

Flex Cable

For remote operation, this cable can slip in the focus knob of the focus controller.

Star Knob

Some people desire a larger rotation knob or simply a lever to manipulate the rotation knob with more precision.
