#521 - Basic Remote Control for Sony & Canon

Built onto a small clamp that suits a wide range of applications, the 521 uses the LANC protocol adopted by Sony and Canon Mini DV, and Hi8 cameras. Controls Power On/Standby, Record/Stop function, zoom in and out and focus in and out. Zoom wheel direction can be reversed. Supplied with 522SCA connector coiled cord cable measuring 25cm-9.8" (extendable to 50cm - 19.7") long.

#521P - Basic Remote Control for Panasonic

Built onto a small clamp that suits a wide range of applications, the 521P is designed to work with Panasonic cameras AG-DVC80 and AG-DVX100 and controls Record/Stop and zoom in/out functions of the camera. Supplied with 522SCA connector cable measuring 25cm-9.8" (extendable to 50cm - 19.7") long.

#523 Pro - Lanc Remote Control Pro For Sony / Canon

The 523 remote control works with both Sony and Canon LANC-enabled video cameras to give you greater control over the zoom functions of the camera from the pan bar of your video head where you can also maneuver the camera itself with the same hand.

The main feature of this version is that aside from the record/stop, focus and power on/standby buttons also found on the 522 LANC models, it gives you three different zoom speed control buttons. The unit ships with these buttons as general use presets, but you can rapidly customize them to your own personal zoom speed levels!

Gear Rings

For cameras without toothed focus ring, a gear ring is required.
This ring slips simply over the camera's focus ring.

Drive Gears

This is the gear wheel which attaches to the follow focus unit.
Some lenses have different teeth sizes on the focus ring, therefore this gear has to be exchangeable.

Drive gear Canon XL1/H1 standard 20X lens, this drive gear does not have the normal shaped teeth, but the teeth are shaped to grip directly into the ribbed rubber focus ring of the lens. Therefore there is no gear ring required. Item #0500-0200

For remote operation, this cable can slip in the focus knob of the focus controller.
