The G1077M is the lowest profile head in the range. Lightweight yet robust, it weighs under .5lbs and can support equipment up to 5.5 lbs. The G1077M features a precision machined aluminum ball for ultra-smooth operation, along with a single lock for rapid and reliable locking in any position. Magnesium offers the advantage of being up to 20% lighter than regular photographic heads.

The G1177M Center Ball Head is a perfect match for Series One tripods such as the G1118, G1120, G1126 and carbon fiber G1127 and G1128 models. Gitzo G1277

The most versatile head in the Gitzo range, the magnesium G1277M is light enough to travel with, but strong enough to carry loads up to 13.2 lbs. It offers excellent locking power for its size, with separate mechanisms for panoramic and ball movements, yet its advanced teflon-coated ball gives smooth, fluid-feeling movements between shots.

High performance 3 series ball head suitable for loads up to 17.5 lbs. At the heart of this ball head is a precision-machined, Teflon coated aluminum ball for ultra-smooth operation. The G1377M incorporates a separate friction control which can be set to counterbalance the weight of the camera, giving total control over the finest of adjustments. Supplied with a fixed round plate with reversible 1/4" or 3/8" camera fixing. Independent pan and tilt controls lock the head exactly where it is set, without movement. All locking knobs have a rubber coating, for a softer touch and excellent grip.

Take the versatility of a ball head, add true ergonomic control and you get the 322RC2: a photographic head that allows you to unblock, move, position and lock your camera with one hand in one position thanks to the revolutionary design of its grip handle, which incorporates the ball lock lever and can also mount the optional 322RS shutter release accessory. A friction control wheel lets you regulate the power of the blocking mechanism to match the weight of your camera/lens. The 322RC2 is made from magnesium for lightweight performance, and is designed to keep the weight of your kit as close as possible to the tripod's centre of gravity by way of its reduced height. It is this fact, matched with the precision construction of the 322RC2 that gives the head its load capacity of 5kg. The 200PL quick release plate assembly can be removed and positioned for left-handed use or on the top of the grip in a vertical position like the 'traditional' 222 design, but when used in this position, max load reverts to 2.5kg capacity. Complete with built-in bubble spirit level and quick release camera plate (standard 1/4" screw, with secondary safety pin). Suitable for use with 35mm or medium format cameras.
